This is a simple LM311 Comparator based switch which
can be used for various purposes:

With an LDR as a
sensor, it may be used as a DAY or Night Switch. |

You may use any
other resistive sensor to activate or deactivate relay for your
own purpose |
Designed on a Single sided board, my purpose to make
this project was to switch ON many staircase lights that we
have. I have to put them OFF every day in the Morning and switch
OFF every evenings!!
Kit is supplied with choice of two size of LDRs.
This was found important as, in my case, I had to place LDR a little
bit away from the Light-Switch PCB. If you wish to use a transparent
plastic case to house this project, you may use Large LDR for direct
mounting to PCB.
